Using Descriptions

Once upon a time there was a little boy called Jack. He lived in the deep forest and he had a cow. They he  sold the cow for beans and the beans turned into a little beanstalk. They lived in a dark cottage. They were not very happy. They had no money. Then Jack climbed the beanstalk and he looked around the place. Then he saw a pot of gold. He took the gold down the beanstalk and he lived happily ever after.

I am a super star because I'm a great writer. I used two descriptions.

I got it all right. I used a tidy ten. I counted on the numbers that were left. It was sort of easy.

I can split the numbers to help me add. I put some numbers in  my head. I got it right.

Making Spinach Dip

The spinach dip was easy to write about.  It was easy to make. Mrs Sproull helped us with the microwave. I put too much on my piece of bread and it tasted yuk. My favourite part was pressing the buttons on the microwave and working out how long it would take to cook.

I was able to retell the story. All the parts are in order. I am proud of myself for doing my work.

Describing words

I am learning to use words to describe my leaf creature. I have used some amazing words like whoosh and whish. I have used some fullstops. I am proud of my work.

I  was walking on the beach. All of a  sudden a leaf  creature  up  in to  the  air  waving his strong  arms. It was amazing when it jumped up. His leaves are  brown and red. When he  waves arms it goes whish and whoosh!

I am in Room 17, Year 3. Welcome to my blog.

I love going to the beach and riding my bike. I have 7 people in my family. My favourite part of the beach was the bike ride. This year will be fun. I am looking forward to singing.
